Raghavendra Raju is Head – Strategic Outreach at the Indian Institute for Human Settlements – India’s first prospective National Innovation University addressing challenges of urbanisation through an integrated programme of education, research, consulting and advisory services.

Raghavendra’s responsibilities at IIHS include assisting in marketing Programme for Working Professionals (PWP) courses, executing the IIHS brand ambassador program, assisting with the registration process for World Bank, DFID UK, EU & HUPA as a consultancy firm and establishing a monthly advisory/consulting opportunity tracking system.
Prior to joining IIHS, Raghavendra was the managing director for sales and marketing at Yuyutsa, India’s largest Paintball Company. Raghavendra broke new ground by introducing and promoting the brand new concept of Paintball for the first time in India and later expanding to other cities. Raghavendra leveraged social media marketing extensively at a time when the understanding of this concept was still at a nascent stage.
Earlier, Raghavendra was a team manager at Dell – Technical Support Center where his role included hiring, performing quality evaluations and root-cause analysis and conducting performance appraisals among other activities. Raghavendra has also been a team leader at ADT-TYCO – Home Security Systems where he was responsible for training, organising and managing teams of sales executives.
Raghavendra grabbed the no. 1 sales position as an executive and set a new record for the highest sales ever collected in a single month at ADT-TYCO – Home Security Systems. Raghavendra was also awarded “Top Manager” for three consecutive quarters at Dell.
