Nina Nair is the Chief People Officer at the Indian Institute for Human Settlements – India’s first prospective National Innovation University addressing challenges of urbanisation through an integrated programme of education, research, consulting and advisory services.
Education:
Nina started her career as a teacher and moved on to the role of a consultant faculty at First Source, NIIT, Mphasis, Wipro, Infosys and 24/7 Customer – before becoming the head of the Resources Development team for 24/7 Customer Pvt Ltd. Under Nina’s guidance the HR & training initiatives functioned cohesively to respond to the strategic needs of the company. Her leadership played a key role to improve the efficiency and quality of human resources initiatives as well as the employees’ development and training.
Nina was also one of the key members of the management team in India and actively contributed to all aspects of the business. She headed the anti – harassment committee for the organisation. She spearheaded the initiation of a unique Leadership Academy for 24/7 called “Nalanda – a combination of class room interventions and experiential residential programs built in house and delivered by the team.
During her tenure Nina designed and executed a complete organisational restructuring based on skill and competency. She has supported many green belt projects taken up by team members.

Nina is passionate about social service and has taken lead roles in the corporate social responsibilities of the company. She has worked on ongoing initiative to sponsor education for underprivileged children, adoption schemes, etc.
She is an extremely creative person and has been responsible for designing many employee engagement activities that range from just fun in the organisation to programs like “Wings Within”, an internal certification program for creating key support expertise.
