The Indian Institute for Human Settlements, the promoter of the IIHS University, is a Section 25 not-for-profit company under the Indian Companies Act. It has been brought into existence, nurtured and led by a group of eminent Indians from all walks of life, who are providing their services pro bono publico. In addition, these individuals have made generous contributions to the initial corpus.
